I wouldn’t write this review if I didn’t think you could improve. The cheese is delicious, I’ll give it that. But my family used to go here whenever we went west and stop for ice cream and fresh cheese. The ice cream was delicious, homemade, inexpensive with a generous scoop. Every time we went we looked forward to discovering a new flavor, it would be different every time (we only went once or twice a year, not sure if it was a daily or weekly basis.) Well, the ice cream is gone now, replaced by a soft serve machine. (Not self-serve, however.) The only flavors are boring chocolate, vanilla, twist. $1.50 each, the same price as the good ice cream that was sold. I can get one dollar self-serve soft serve of the same quality at my local gas station! I don’t need to go out of my way to get ice cream in Nasonville. Will not be eating ice cream there again. I’m really sad because it ruined an annual tradition and something I greatly looked forward to and recommended to others. Maybe you could put the good ice cream back? I wouldn’t mind spending $2 for it if money...
Read moreMy wife and stopped here for the first time, while on a little motorcycle ride. I've had cheese curds from here before and they are the squeekiest, freshest most awesomest cheese curds, but have not stopped here. It is a small place but what it lacks in size it sure makes up for in cheese selection. They have a wide selection from 15 year aged cheddar to olive jack, and several spicy cheeses too. They have little sample cheese packs with chunks of beef sticks in it, we got a XXX pack and when we paid the guy and girl behind the counter warned us about how spicy the different cheeses were, and that they sampled them in front of "the kids" and how funny it was when they would get a hot one. There were definitely a few super spicy ones in there. You can also watch the curd making process through windows. Will...
Read moreOrdered online for delivery in Madison. Shipped same day and arrived the next day via FedEx. Quality is excellent from the cheeses they make (wasn't a fan of the Swiss but it wasn't made by them).
My edit removed a section about Carolina reaper, and add that it made my stomach turn inside out, twice. I had 4 moderately sized pieces about 10 hours later I wasn't having a good time. THIS IS NOT A DIG AT NASONVILLE, not everyone's stomachs can handle reaper.
If you want spicy that won't make you feel awful, their ghost pepper is really good (cheese) and...
