Valley View Farm Fresh Produce — Local services in Town of Lisle

This is a lovely place to stop along the road, even if you’re not nearby, I stop here on my way to Trader Joe’s. The woman working here is absolutely wonderful and told us all about the silo across the way and the local artist that does beautiful work and was featured in the news for the mural painted on the silo.

Here, you’ll find some produce options, some freezer items and beverages to grab especially in a hot summer day! There’s also things like cookies and biscuits in the freezer to take home. They have plenty of outdoor yard decor right outside and some inside too. There are lots of home items, jars of pickled products, jellies, vegetables, and more. Cute shop, only good place to stop in the area. I had to change my son’s diaper and was going to get a snack and some ice cream. I didn’t see the sign on the door when I first walked in, I was distracted by my son. It says “keep your trash in your car, we are not a landfill”.. whoah, a little aggressive but I get it. Probably happens a lot.. if it were my shop I probably would have said it nicer, but okay. What I couldn’t let go was the staff making me feel bad for kindly asking if they do have a trash can for things like dirty diaper… not the ticket..
