ADK Trading Post — Local services in Town of Long Lake

Thanksgiving came early for me…I had the BEST panini EVER yesterday…I will definitely get it again if I am passing through. You have your choice of ingredients the obvious parts being turkey and stuffing….I customized mine to have turkey, stuffing, bacon, cranberry sauce and apple slices. There are so many choices though. The menu off paninis is insane each sounding as delicious as their one before. I also purchased cheddar and bacon horseradish spread that was out of this world. Then on top of that a slice of carrot cake and a slice of cheesecake. The carrot cake was so moist and incredibly flavorful. The cheesecake…that was an entirely different level of deliciousness! To be fair, we didn't stop at the trading post. My wife and I stopped in to use the laundromat, and arrived shortly after 6pm, on a Monday. My wife tried the door of the trading post, we were going to shop while our laundry was washing, and it was locked. There weren't any signs with times of business. We then saw a store clerk lock up and leave, cursing quite loudly under his breath. He seemed very agitated, and put out, but said nothing to us, directly. We have been here over an hour, and we have since told at least 6 would be shoppers that they are closed, and we think they close at 6pm, and no, we don't know what time they open. My advice, get a sign that displays your hours. At least then people would know...

Honestly a most go to place when you are driving through, weather you want a sovereign of where you have been or you are looking for a meal on the road, this is your place, the staff is always friendly and willing to help. They have post cards, ice cream, glasses and snacks. Weather you forgot the sauce for your pasta or want a tree scented pillow to take home you can find it here. Cold drinks and lobster, can’t find what you are looking for just ask. Definitely recommend checking...
