Wurtsboro G-Mart Inc — Local services in Town of Mamakating

Everyone in the area knows their prices are insanely high and you only go there in a pinch. The staff all seem to have the attitude that they're being held hostage there. The looks on their faces are far from warm and welcoming. The way they speak to a customer is far from welcoming but more like get out of my face. If this is the best the new owners can do as far as help maybe they should consider paying a little more and being more attentive and supervising their staff. There should not be an attitude of contempt when talking and dealing with people who are giving you their money for items that are well overpriced. A deli counter that closes 2 hours before the store under the excuse they can't get help and the ones they have are sick? Really? This store is super clean well stocked and has a excellent butcher section. I absolutely love the beef roasts and their produce selection. Some items are a bit more expensive than the bigger stores but for the convenience of not going to Monticello or Middletown town, worth it. Staff is friendly enough and helpful when needed. They have a full service Deli with Boar's head meats as well as Thumans, they make good sandwiches and have a fresh assortment of breads and rolls. Only down side that cost them 1 ⭐ no...

There are often errors where sale items dont show up on sale on my receipt... This is a big deal because their prices are high. They kept raising the price of the items I was getting regularly. The store is meant for a quick trip. There might be one or two lanes open for check out with no quick lane. Also, most fresh foods will be bad within 2 days of you buying it.
