My wife and I had a most memorable experience at this sacred house of the Lord! The spirit of the Lord was strong and bore witness to our hearts and minds of the truthfulness of the sacred service we accomplished while we were there! A feeling of love and joy permeated the entire building!We are so very grateful to our Heavenly Father for providing these holy and sacred houses of worship all over the earth! In them one can be blessed to feel what it is like to be in His Holy Presence! How grateful we are for His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, His atoning sacrifice and glorious resurrection which makes all of this possible! We bear our witness that our Father in Heaven lives! He has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as ours! As does His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ! They are two separate and distinct glorified and exalted beings Who love all of us His children here on earth! There is life beyond the grave. We can live with our family and loved ones in Their Holy presence filled with love, joy and happiness! We had the most wonderful experience in the Palmyra Temple visiting from Fort Worth, Texas. Sister Gail Lamieaux helped arrange our daughter to be taken care in the foyer so I could enter for proxy baptisms with my younger sons while my wife and two older sons were in an endowment session. It made all the difference. She did such a wonderful work in organizing the baptismal session!

We went to do temple work a few days later at the end of our vacation trip and the assistant matron again arranged for our daughter to be cared for so we could all go in and serve in the temple together! It was incredible!

President Clay, the temple presidency first councelor, spoke to the youth before the baptisms and it was so spiritual and friendly. He explained that the site was chosen so that you can stand in a holy place and see another holy place: The Sacred Grove.
