They gave a GREAT demonstration of native vs nonnative plants on another lake. The facily is filled with educational info. The center has LOTS of labeled plants and bird info on the beautiful trails. The family day was wonderful. We went daily in the trails duringbour week here. The young biologists were truly dedicated to making our lakes healthy. Thanks!!!!!! Attached are some of the amazing nature we saw. Green frog, mushroom eaten by maybe turtle, spittlebugs, Canada lily, chalk-fronted corporal dragonfly, lupine, meadow anemone, blueberry, ninebark, pale beauty, painted turtle left the lake to lay eggs, white admiral...

Bog walk is totally accessible. All small bridges are curved, with no steps. This makes a huge difference for people with bad knees. I was so impressed by this construction, that I went in and joined as a member. I can only hope that the longer trails are as accessible as well. Thank you for using this type of construction!!! Some of us hikers just can't hike as well as we used to. We can step over roots, but not 6" or higher steps.

Loved it!! There is a small display of taxidermy animals as well as skulls and furs. There a are also a few live turtles and reptiles. Loved the eagles nest you could walk up to as well. They also have lots of trails as well some of the informational signs need repaired but the trails are very well marked.

This place is awesome. Start at the Nook and check out the turtles, bats, skulls, etc. Give a bit of cash, we left $5 initially but after we visited the lake and paddled out in the free canoe with my daughters using free push-button rods from the classroom to catch the biggest bluegill I've ever seen we went back and added another $20 to the donation box.

The swimming dock is brand new and beautiful, the bottom is sandy and the floating platform is great. They have maybe 8 large canoes, 2 sit-on-top kayaks and a single sit-inside yak. They also have a paddle boat that was...

Let me start this out by saying that I live over 8 hours away, had never seen this site before, and found it online. The pictures online do not even do the amphitheater and grounds justice! The amphitheater itself was absolutely gorgeous! Our wedding was on October 12th and it was inevitably snowing. We still had the wedding out on the stage and it was even more beautiful than before. We worked with Lynn and she was wonderful and easy to work with! I would absolutely recommend the Discovery Center to...
