They gave a GREAT demonstration of native vs nonnative plants on another lake. The facily is filled with educational info. The center has LOTS of labeled plants and bird info on the beautiful trails. The family day was wonderful. We went daily in the trails duringbour week here. The young biologists were truly dedicated to making our lakes healthy. Thanks!!!!!! Start at the Nook and check out the turtles, bats, skulls, etc. Give a bit of cash, we left $5 initially but after we visited the lake and paddled out in the free canoe with my daughters using free push-button rods from the classroom to catch the biggest bluegill I've ever seen we went back and added another $20 to the donation box.
