Hartman's Towne & Country Greenhouse — Local services in Town of Manitowoc

I know Hartman's has excellent plants. Family members have gone there often. On the spur of the moment I decided to pick up an Easter Lily for my mother. When I entered I did not see anyone. I did go into where the Easter Lilies were, but there were a tremendous number of boxes packed up ready to go out on order. I started looking at the available Easter lilies. Many had the yellow stamens picked off (which I know you should do) but whoever did this also pulled off petals! I struggled to find what I would have liked - lilies with a couple flowers in bloom and several unopened buds. When I picked out what I thought was the best I went to check out. I was on a tight time schedule and the clerk started helping me but took a phone call instead of finishing by taking my payment. With that she had to go into another room to find another person who was working while I had to stand and wait for what I felt was not really an acceptable time. She did apologize. There was no one else shopping that I could see. I understand that it was just before Easter, and that covid has businesses struggling to keep enough people working.
