Beau and Mary are some of the kindest, most hardworking people I know, and they put their heart and soul into The Buffalo Pit. Their food is fantastic— I loved the corn last summer at the benefit! Anyone who is reading through the reviews keep in mind that some people who have never eating their food or met them are intentionally putting false or unrelated information in their reviews. It’s sad to see negative comments from people who haven’t even tried their catering or even live in the community or let alone state this business is in. I know firsthand how dedicated they are to great food and service. All of the cancer comments are so reactive and come from people have no idea the amount of food, time and support they have given to our areas. Wish we could give 100 stars! Had Buffalo Pit cater my daughter’a birthday party—blown away by the punctuality, professionalism, amazing communication, and quality of the food. Beau sure knows what he is doing with the smoker! We fed approximately 45 people with the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches—and I had multiple guests go up for seconds, say it was the best brisket/pulled pork they’ve had, and request the caterer’s information. I've had the pleasure of knowing the owners, Beau and Mary for many years now and can say they are some of the most hard working and caring people I've ever met. Don't let a couple keyboard warriors discourage you from supporting their business! Their BBQ is the BEST in the area and could compete with the BBQ joints in Texas. Not only is their food absolutely delicious (the most mouthwatering brisket 😋) they also make life easier for you by having drop off catering available!
