JCPenney — Local services in Town of Massena

This JC Penny has downsized from what the store once used to be. I would have to say that it now has about 1/2 the merchandise it once carried and it doesn't carry the same quality or high end name brand merchandise it once had. The merchandise is often the same quality of that one would expect to find in a Walmart. And selection is often better at the local Walmart with better prices unless one is to shopping clothing or a sale. The sales are absolutely worth the trip and the time. However, if you are going in looking to expect the selection from years past it's not there...

The store is generally trying. They no longer have a entrance into the mall as the mall is basically done. They are struggling, they went from a anchor store of a thriving mall to a store that is on life support. I like shopping there , but without coupons or buying stuff that is clearanced it is to expensive. I can't see spending $50 on a shirt or $50 for a pair of summer cargo shorts. They have a great staff that is wonderful. The store is currently going through dealing with all of the demolition in the mall and air quality issues that the store is staying on top...

Much improved! Mother's Day jewelry dept gift specials saved my day Chinese made irked me. As only discounted and affordable merchandise. Wife says women's clothing are overpriced poor women designed clothing! She wants downstate Macy's type stock! And finally after all my past complaints the dressing room for sizing tryout is finally open! Don't ever do that again in "rural" communities as the new clothing and shoe merchandise are often not the size they claim! Customer's needs and wants always and always come first not corporate...
