I recently decided to replace my 25+ year old john deer lx 188 the wife told me it was due because we have a much longer driveway and bigger yard at the new house . I did my research on what I would need and decided on the john deer x350 with two stage blower and power assist bagger. I went to the local john deer dealer in Hortonville riesterer and schnell explained what I was looking for . I knew exactly what I wanted . Also because that is where I purchased the last one. They are only 3 miles away and I am all about supporting your local small business they gave me a price of just over 7 grand with all the attachments that I wanted . I am not the person that just pulls the trigger on 7 grand I wanted to talk to the wife about it first. And then a friend told me he recently purchased a new john deer from eis implement and to give them a call . I called them talked to Chris I explained over the phone what I was looking for with what attachments . He asked if he could e mail me a quote I said of course and within one hour I had a quote for nearly 1000.00 less than the local dealer . The local dealer took over a day to get me a price and I had to go back there to get it . When I went in they wanted me to put money down on it at that moment . Now I thought something was a miss on the quote for the same tractor and attachments at that much of a difference it seemed odd . So I naturally assumed I would have to pay something like a delivery / set up charge or something from Eis . Chris explained no that is the price and he would deliver it and show me how to use the options on it . Now a thousand dollars is a lot of a difference so I called the local dealer and asked them to explain there quote they were very short and stated you will not get a better deal . I am all about small business but a grand is a grand . When I explained I had another quote from another dealer for less they got very defensive and said impossible that was there price take it or leave it because there the only dealer within 50 miles . They are correct on the dealer part however after talking to Chris I could tell Eis wants your business not because they have what 10 dealers . But because they want you to be happy with your purchase. This is the bonus when the snow blower came in from john deer I figured I can go pick it up and figure out how to put it on . Not they came to the house picked up my tractor and installed the blower and delivered it back to me in one day . I normally do not do reviews but I just had to in this case . I will not even walk into the local dealer in my opinion Eis implement is hands down the best and if you don’t buy from them you are missing a great sales experience and it will be a mistake...
Read moreNo communication between sales and service. Eis will charge u for equipment u have never received. Poor management. Clearly chris eis is lil confused cause when called service they told me that would not be ready till mid or early next week. Service said they had to set machines up in order. Later that day Eric called me say if we get the mower set up would u still be interested in getting the machine. Through all of this never heard a work from the salesman John. So never got the mower and than week later I get a statement from John Deere credit for the full price of mower with interest. But Chris says never got charged for it. So reached out to Eric and Chris reaches out to me and through this he sends me a returned merchandise and it’s dated may1st kinda odd but the purchase order what signed may 6th. So u can figure out.    Read moreOwen is top notch, and he is the guy you want on your team! We just added a new baby to the family; and I didn’t have a ton of time to just “pop in” with my trade. I explained my situation, and he helped us like an immediate family member. He got me a fair trade value right away, and answered every question within minutes. We walked in, and I felt like I was talking to my best friend. I brought my 4 year old son, who was treated like family as well. Owen loaded the new tractor onto the trailer and made sure we were 100% before we headed back home. This was the best experience I could ask for. Landon, the 4 year old, kept asking about Owen, “The Nice Tractor Guy” on the way home. Landon wore his John Deere hat all night. ...
