Professional, Kind, Amazing Food! Our wedding would not have been nearly as wonderful without BBQ Specialists of the Hudson Valley! I feel so unbelievably lucky that we found them. From the first time I spoke to John about our DIY wedding, he began pushing back on our timeline and caused me to actually start thinking about the details I hadn't yet considered. (I'd never planned a wedding and had no clue what I was doing!) I'm so grateful to him for this! When we proposed a menu to John, he was so accommodating and worked to get us all the things we wanted within a reasonable price range. We went with a buffet style bbq meal filled with comfort foods (bbq chicken, pulled pork, grilled veggies, mac n cheese, corn bread, etc.) and received TONS of compliments from guests about the food. And we can confirm that the food was incredible! So many people told us that normally wedding food is bland or just not that good, but this was not the case at ours - thanks to these wonderful people. He also included vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, which was great for meeting the dietary needs of our eclectic crowd. Also, they took care of providing refreshments at our welcome station, a pre-dinner appetizer spread, and an open bar for our reception. They also offer clean up services if desired. We were so crazed on the day of the wedding, that we appreciated John pulling us to the side to make sure that we ate. And the pasta Alfredo was exactly what I needed. YUM! The staff was so professional and they really were such a huge part of our wedding. They were all super kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I didn't see any reviews when we hired them but they came recommended by our venue and speaking to John just made me know that they were the ones we needed to have at our wedding. They are so much more than just a caterer because they really care about your wedding. And I am so so so so glad that they were a part of it! I highly recommend them. Thank you so much, John...

We hired BBQ Specialists of the Hudson Valley for our ‘70s decade reunion three years ago and had to reschedule twice due to Covid. They stayed with us and were always very professional and responded quickly any time we reached out to them. The day of the event they showed up on time, set up quickly and were ready to go when people arrived. Their food and service were exceptional. We are planning to do this again in five years and cannot think of having anyone else cater our event. Thank you John and Joan!!!...

Tons of food options, both BBQ and alternatives via Frankie T [vegan/gluten free options, etc] when originally planning. When the day came, nothing but smooth sailing and delicious food! A lot of compliments from guests! 10/10...
