Sample Lumber — Local services in Town of Mooers

My husband and I have recently had some questionable work done on our home by a contractor, and Sample Lumber has been helping us on their end alleviate some of the issues - by providing us with new screens for our windows which were damaged during installation and by providing us with paint to fix some of our contractor’s siding issues. We are really impressed with Sample’s incredible customer service. We even spoke to the owner who spent significant time on the phone with us, and sent a sales rep the very next day, to take photos and meet with us at our house to help clean up our contractor’s work.

You don’t find this kind of care and customer service every day, especially in 2025, and when we do, we feel it’s important to recognize and note it. Thank you very much to Sample Lumber for helping us out! We wholeheartedly...

Ordered a vanity. Black granite bowl sink with waterfall facet. Been waiting 2 months, should of been 5 - 6 weeks. Called today only to be told she never ordered it!!!! Very poor business lady. This company is very unprofessional. They randomly decided one day to just close the doors at their North Bangor location. No notice. Big surprise to employees as they show up for work one day with a note on the door saying they are no longer in business. Very, very poor way to operate.
