Cooper's Cave Games — Local services in Town of Moreau

I should have known better but I had a store credit from the last time this place sold me broken used merchandise and I tried to at least get something of value for it. I purchased a couple used games and a cable. The cable worked but the games didn't. Look I understand things happen, so I go back asking for a working copy of the main game I wanted and find it but I ask the person at register if they can test it and make sure it works. They go downstairs for 10 min and say the game works. Sure enough I go home and the person lied and wasted the time which is such an insult after already received a broken game to "test" it then knowingly deceive me again, I won't be going back a third time. Pretty lousy way to do business. They clearly do not test their used merchandise so if you buy it you're risking your money because they also don't do returns, only give you store credit afterwards. Gotta love people today, nobody has any ethics or any kind of idea of doing...

I’m not into card games or airsoft/paintball gun sport so I can’t speak for that aspect of the store. The video game section has a lot to be desired. Been there twice now. It feels like an afterthought in the store. It’s very unorganized, the selection isn’t very big or impressive, the games are not cleaned nor are the controllers and accessories. I’ve bought a few cartridge games that just straight up didn’t work. The cartridge contacts had a crack in them and it wouldn’t have taken much to see it. Just a quick glance would do it. Just feels like this section is an afterthought. None of the staff also seem to come around to this section if your browsing. The prices on things seem all over the place too. If your into cards or paintball guns then this store is probably for you as most people seem happy with that aspect of the store which is why I give 3 stars. I had an excellent experience in this store today. They are always more than fair with trade in value for games, but what impressed me the most was how they handled another customer in the store today. There was an older guy, maybe late 50s or 60s that came in complaining about how the controller that came with the console he bought there stopped working. The manager without hesitation gave him a replacement for free. Then the guy said he wanted another controller just as a second one to have, after the manager went into the back to look for another controller, the customer started bad mouthing the store saying how they rip everyone off. When the manager got back with the extra controller, the store proceeded to offer the guy the second controller for free as well! The customer service is some of the best I’ve ever...
