Spruce Ridge Landscape & Garden Center — Local services in Town of Nelson

Contacted them over a month ago about getting flowers for our wedding. Went in for an initial consultation where we discussed arrangements and varieties and we were told we would get a contract emailed to us within a week. Waited about 2 weeks and called them up to see what was going on, since we hadn't received anything. Was told it would be another day or two.

Now, over a month later we haven't gotten anything from them, and haven't heard a peep.

It's a shame - since the friends and family who referred us spoke highly of spruce ridge, and the employees seemed nice enough. Unfortunately they've been completely unresponsive.

Edit: Since posting my review they have responded saying they don't recognize my name. They took down both of our names during consultation, and when I previously called twice (see below) they recognized me right away (even recalling our venue, date, fiancees name, etc).

My fiancee and I visited the store on 9/29 to get some initial info and setup a consultation. On 10/6 at 10:00am we met with Amanda and discussed our May wedding and she recorded down all the relevant info (fiancees name, my name, phone, email, venue, etc) and looked over several inspiration pictures on our tablet. We were told we would have a proposal within a week or so.

When I called on 10/17 and 10/25 to get the status on the proposal the staff told me "She'll have it finished up in a few days"... we waited a bit longer since we know their work is exemplary. Unfortunately last week we hit the "we've waited long enough" point and ended up going with...

My wife and I were looking for a florist for our wedding, and we looked and looked at MANY different florists. It was a difficult job for us since we were working remotely from Massachusetts, but the moment we walked in and sat down with Amanda here at Spruce Ridge, we knew we had the right place. Everywhere else we went, the other florists treated us like a business transaction and since we were trying to save some money and were on a budget, we barely got the time of day, but at Spruce Ridge, we felt that we were treated with warmth and could tell that they were really listening to what we wanted and were willing to happily work with us within our budget to give us the most beautiful wedding they could offer.

They fulfilled that promise and went beyond. Our flowers were beautiful and well put together! Everyone complimented how great they looked and wanted to know who we used! They also did a great job keeping in contact with me. They called back whenever I left a message and even proactively called me to finalize and verify everything as the wedding date got closer and closer. I can not say enough about how amazing these ladies are! The team here is absolutely incredible and we are so grateful we were able to hire them (kinda last minute!) for our wedding. As my mom and I met with Spruce Ridge and described the flowers we were envisioning and the feel for my venue, Ruth listened patiently, engaged and delivered-above and beyond any expectation we had! Though I was never big on having flowers for my wedding, I have to say that I am so thankful we did. It added such an elegance and romance to our wedding that my husband and I will never forget. We are so incredibly grateful and will definitely work with Spruce Ridge again in the future!
