Iāve gone to this location a few times for a dipping powder manicure and regular pedicure. I tried gel for awhile but didnāt like the filing down on my nails plus my nails were getting very weak. The salon I went to for my gel manicures didnāt do dipping powder so I found this place which is close to home and had good reviews. Two different ladies serviced me when I went there and each time they both were not friendly, didnāt greet me and just seemed uninterested. This was before I asked them to use thin layer of powder because I didnāt like the dipping powder thick. Each time I informed them of what I wanted they obliged and my nails came out perfect. My pedicures also came out fine. My only issue with each of them was that they were unfriendly didnāt greet me and seemed disinterested. Weeks ago while at an appointment I asked to speak to the owner to inform her that these two ladies should be a little more courteous and friendly. I didnāt get the opportunity to speak to her at that appointment however while scheduling my last appointment about a week and a half ago, same dipping powder manicure and regular pedicure, I tried to schedule with someone other than two women who usually perform my services but I was told by the owner that they were the only ones who performs those services so I scheduled with one of them against my better judgement. This time my nails didnāt come out right, the powder was very light on the tip of my nails and my pedicure was scuffed. I contacted the owner to return and have the issues corrected which was scheduled immediately to their credit. When I showed up for the appointment to have the issues corrected the woman who performed my services at the last appointment and who was to correct the issues asked me what I needed, I asked her if the owner informed her that I called about some issues with my nails and toes and she said, āYou donāt listen, you donāt listen!ā I asked her what she was talking about and she said, You donāt listen!ā I donāt know who she thought she was talking to because she was very loud and unprofessional and who tells a client in such a rude manner that they donāt listen. I informed her that she had no right to talk to me that way and I left without letting her correct her errors. I then contacted the owner to inform her what I experienced and the owner informed me that she reviewed the tape and since I walked out the best she could do is give me back half of my money. She further informed me that dipping powder has to be done a certain way and I always refuse and donāt allow them to do their jobs by telling them I donāt want the dipping powder thick. She couldnāt answer why my nails, with me telling them previously that I donāt want the layer thick, other times came out perfectly fine. She also went on to tell me that the two have said that I come in and when they greet me I give a blank stare. The audacity of the owner and those two employees.. for the owner to take her employees side and not hold them accountable at all is awfulā¦. Then she had the nerve to tell me that neither of them will work on my nails but I had to remind her that I walked out and didnāt plan on returningā¦ horrible experience. Not once did she offer an apology for how her employee spoke to me, all she did was inform how my nails didnāt come out right because I didnāt let them do their job. She also said there could have been a language barrier but rude is rude in all languages.
An apology and ātaking accountabilityā doesnāt come with a reason or excuse for an employee telling a client with a raised voice āyou donāt listen, you donāt listen!ā And lying on a client saying that they disrespected your staff is unconscionable.
