Dollar General — Local services in Town of Newport

As this looked like a newer build, we were excited to stop in during our travels. We roamed the store and quickly found but we were looking for. It took us at least 5 minutes to check out because no cashier was found to assist us with checking out. Just before the checkout line, there were tables set up full of shipping boxes with items marked clearance. There was no rhyme or reason to the items. He was trying to pay, he finally found an employee on her phone and didn’t even acknowledge him. I have never talked to any employees there. They are always flirting or eyeroll.
