My dress was absolutely gorgeous and the tailoring was phenomenal!! My experience with Diane and the work she did with my dress and myself be a 5 star!! I gave 1 star based solely on my experience the day I came to pick up my dress for my special day. I came into the store, my dress was brought out to the register and the woman with tattoos on her arm who works there said an outrageous dollar amount was due. I immediately said, “Um. No”. To which she turned around and looked puzzled at me. I said, “I put $500 down the day I chose the dress and I came in here 2 times after that and made payments. All I should owe is around $50 for the dress and the cost for the tailor”. The woman asked if I had the receipts and at that moment I didn’t which sent me in a panic. She then went through a payment log they keep and she informed me there was no record of my payments. I told her “well until you can figure out where my record of payment is you can keep the dress”! And I walked outside to my car where my sisters were waiting for me. I cried and told them what happened. They helped me tare my car apart and we were able to produce 2 of the 3 receipts showing I did in fact make an initial payment of $500 and another $200 payment on a later date. I couldn’t find my 3rd receipt showing my $100 payment and of course, any payments I made outside my initial payment was cash so I had no credit trail either. I decided because I at least had the $500 and $200 receipts, I’d swallow the $100 as my wedding was just 3 days away!!! I went in, showed her my receipt and paid whatever the balance was at that point. I left there so stressed out and angry. That woman with the tattoos on her arm was the woman I made payments to twice and she acted like she’d never seen me before!!!! Also, that makes her the person who didn’t record my payments in their payment log! The mis management of hundreds of dollars is unacceptable!! The dress at got at Deanna's was the one thing I felt SO good about, so confident about, from the get-go. And I can't tell you how many people complimented me on my wedding dress! Here's my experience - I went to Deanna's because it's only 10 minutes from my home, thinking it would be a first wedding dress shop to visit among many. I told Diane in advance that I was looking for a non-traditional dress, not necessarily a wedding dress, something for a beach wedding that was unique and different. She had several dresses set aside for me, but they weren't exactly what I was looking for - more like mother of the bride or bridesmaid dresses. I was feeling like I wasn't going to find anything there, but then I decided to take a peak at the full-on serious wedding dresses... It wasn't long before she pulled out "The One" - and wow, it was gorgeous! I really appreciated Diane's willingness to switch gears and comb through her stock quickly to find the right dress. From there on the experience got better and better. She wasn't able to get me the dress in my size but she was able to alter the floor sample, which was in perfect shape, and it fit me perfectly. Not to mention it was discounted because it was a floor sample! She also helped me select a beautiful headpiece and earrings from her that I wasn't sure about when I bought it, but turned out to work perfectly! She really knows her stuff. I had such an amazing experience getting my TWO(!!) wedding dresses at DeAnnas. I came by DeAnnas last May during the beginning phase of wedding dress shopping. I booked an appointment and got the chance to try on about 10 different dresses and ended up finding the one for my wedding in July 2020. I felt so special and listened to during my initial try-on, all of my comments were heard and I got to try on all types of dresses I thought I might like, even though I didn’t end up with what I initially envisioned! I picked out my perfect dress and was really excited about wearing it to my wedding, however, with the COVID pandemic we decided to postpone our big wedding and reception until next summer and chose to have a small elopement ceremony with our immediate family this July. Once this was decided I reached out to Dianne to see if I could get another dress for my small ceremony this year. She was so helpful, immediately responded to all of my emails and was so easy to work with regarding the second dress I picked out from the dresses I initially tried on. Dianne ended up letting me purchase their sample gown which was in great shape and it was altered to fit me for a great price. I would 10/10 recommend DeAnnas to anyone in the area looking for a wedding dress, it’s such a great, fun and special experience! I cannot wait until July 2021 to show off “The Dress”.
