Old Salem Farm — Local services in Town of North Salem

This is one of my favorite places to go! The entire farm is beyond pristine! I love to go to the many horse shows they host throughout the year, including the American Gold Cup. There is usually a food truck and when the show is bigger, there are vendors as well. It is a wonderful family outing! This was not an appropriate facility for the North American Youth Championship. There was NO seating for dressage spectators except in the small VIP tent. During a week of high temperatures and torrential rains this was a major problem. I understand that the few vendor tents flooded immediately. There was one food truck to serve the crowd. I haven't actually gone here physically. I was doing research for my daughter, who will possibly be bringing some of her horses here for a stay during competitions. They are all mostly from California. It seems like a beautiful place, and they take the care of the horses very seriously, as they should. I will update if, in fact, they do...
