Was on my way to my family’s hunting camp in Georgetown and I stopped at another “ sporting goods store on the way up because I forgot some ammunition at home on Eastern Long Island. The person behind counter said their is no such ammo . I explained I have it at home and I buy it all the time . Well my it was my fault , I should of just a went little out of my way on up to Mayhoods to get it . Well I stoped there after , I ask the gentleman behind counter if they carried that type of ammo . He not only said of course we have it he walked around the counter and brought me to a shelf of that ammo . Very nice people working there I was greeted by everyone working there with a help and can I help you when I was checking all the sporting goods in there This is a one stop REAL SPORTING store . Went to purchase a shotgun and handed the sales person my pistol license and my motor vehicle license and she told me that because there was a middle initial without the full name she was not able to sell me the shotgun. I went to the police department and the sheriffs department, and I called up the ATF. They all told me the same thing. She was wrong. the FBATF told me there is no such thing of what she was talking about. She was making up her own rules. When you fill out the BATF form they either deny you or OK the purchase. She made herself judge and jury. BATF in DC said there was nothing wrong with my 2 forms of identification. I respect the fact that it is the owners privilege so I moved on and will purchase at WalMart. Cheaper...

They have lots of hunting and fishing gear here overall, I’m sure it’s a great place for general hunting/fishing equipment, and the staff are great. I bought a bow from them, and while there isn’t anything inherently wrong with the bow, all they did was set the draw length and weight. Day later the peep sight fell out, and the shop I took it to saw the cam timing was off, and both the d-loop and peep weren’t set in place. Now I’m a beginner to archery, and so as I’m setting the 20 pin, it kept moving, throwing all my shots off, no wonder why I was struggling lol.
