Where do I even begin with this amazing place? The Nunda Ranch sits on the eastern side of the town of Nunda, NY atop a huge hill, facing the western side of Letchworth Valley. Let’s just say, if you’re a sunset lover, WOWZA!! So horseback riding is something that my fiancé and I really enjoy doing together. I had plans of proposing to her this year, but it had to be perfect. I knew I wanted to do it around horses in a ranch setting, so I started making some calls. I’m a perfectionist and nobody could really bring to life what I was imagining. Not until I called the Nunda Ranch. I spoke with Nicole, who is their event planner, as this place doubles as a wedding venue! After filling her in on my vision, she heard all she needed to hear. Her and the entire team were fully invested in making my dream proposal a reality. Funny enough, the Ranch Manager’s name is also Nicole! She had a huge hand in making this a reality as well! Over the course of a months time, both Nicole’s worked with me and dealt with all of my changes and ideas to make sure it went off without a hitch. This plan had a lot of moving parts and everyone had to know their role before we even stepped onto the ranch. The manager Nicole was also our trail guide and did an amazing job at making sure my fiancé had no idea what was happening. She even made sure the trail ride went on long enough that the sunset was perfect for when I proposed. They even included a photographer that took amazing photos of us to capture the special moment so I didn’t have to sneak my phone away to someone to snag a picture! There’s so many more details but what you as the reader need know is that this place does it all! If it’s a relaxing trail ride, a wedding or a proposal, even pictures for events and couples. The setting is what tied it all together for me. They really do have a little piece of heaven there that you won’t truly understand until you see it for yourself. I would recommend the Nunda Ranch and it’s amazing staff to anybody!

I also wanted to make a note of the cleanliness of the facility and the condition of the horses for people who are more into that aspect. For starters, the horses are some of the most well behaved and beautifully groomed I’ve ever been around in my life. Absolutely gorgeous top to bottom and you can see why when you look around the facility. Their stables are clean as a whistle! The arena is very well kept and ventilated, the horses are well fed and bathed multiple times a day as well as given ample time to rest between rides so each rider gets the full experience. Just an all around class act of a stable with the most professional staff you can find. We felt like family when we left! Everyone from the novice first timer, to the seasoned barrel racer will appreciate what this place has to offer their guests!

Taylor was such an incredible guide for our trail ride! I scheduled my trail ride alone and arrived with the horses fully groomed and ready to hit the trails. I am very involved in the horse world and told her I came to scout photo opportunities for the future and wanted to just be treated like any other guest. Not only did she take me through the gorgeous property but she went out of her way to stop and show me locations. The horses were absolute gems from the wet footing on the ground to having a set of twin fawns running out on us they didn't step off the path. The barn and facility itself is out of a dream I am always in such awe of this special place. We also shared our history in the horse world and it was clear how passionate she was not only for the horses but also sharing that world with future ranch guests.
