Horrible experience with Ogden automotive! Took my car in as it was having check engine light on, and my car had a service traction control and reduced engine mode. Joe calls and tells us it’s a throttle body after he did the diagnostic computer test on it. We replace the throttle body that day for $511, the part was 273, labor $100, and diagnostic $100. Drive not even 50 miles and my car still isn’t fixed as it’s still dying in the middle of traffic, I call joe back he explains it’s not his problem. But I just paid for a diagnostic to read what was wrong and have it fixed?! So confused at this point, he acts as if I am a inconvenience! We bring it back because we paid to have it fixed and it’s still not fixed! He says it’s a abs sensor plug wire, and he ordered the part, says 5-7 business days. Week goes by, I hear nothing from Joe at Ogden automotive! Call Friday he said no customer service for GM parts I’ll call you when part comes in, he calls the next day and tells me the parts wrong and they ordered in another part will be 2-4 more days. We wait 3 days the part comes in, long story short put that part in. Still not fixed! Car is still dying in the middle of the road not even 25 miles from the Ogden automotive shop. He explained he didn’t even want to get involved and he won’t return at least the $100 for the diagnostic charge. Which my car is still not fixed! I was told this guy is honest and reliable and he is far from it. How do you charge someone for a diagnostic and the car is still broke the same way when I brought it to them the first time?! Sounds like bad business to me and horrible diagnostic services! Quite frankly don’t go there!!! The guy throws any parts in and charges you and has no empathy that your car is still broke! CROOK ALERT!!I bought a 2005 Silverado 3500 right before the first of the year. I live in TN and called when I saw the truck on Cars for Sale website. Truck looked good in the pictures and I asked Tim if it had any rust much, he said it's just what you see in the pictures on the back of the bed and he said the truck was never driven in the winter. I received them for truck and as soon as the delivery company pulled up the driver says the truck has brakes. I started looking the truck over and i saw that the whole steel plate on the bed had rusted completely off, the cab mounts are rusted almost completely off, the whole underneath is nothing but rust. Somebody had cut the original brake lines because they were so rusty to replace a new master cylinder. All this rust from a truck that I was told only sat through the winter. After calling several times and texting Tim called me back and says well it's a typical New York truck, (didn't know trucks rusted while parked and not driven on the salty roads).. that's not what he told me when I asked before I bought the truck... Now the truck won't start at all it kills the battery with nothing on. He lied to me about the truck and now won't make it right. He says if I pay the shipping both ways he would do a refund... so I titled the truck and paid the taxes because he sent all the paperwork in the mail several days before the truck got here, I paid the freight company $1000 to get the truck here and it will another $1000 to get it back up there...so I'm supposed to lose $2700 because he lied... stay away from this guy.. he is a deceiving crook! There will be a lawsuit! Who puts people's lives in danger by not even telling them a vehicle...

I live in Baldwinsville New York and we came across a Chevy Tahoe online last week and Ogden Automotive was the dealer that had listed it. I didn't even know where Spencerport New York was before this... And to be honest we really weren't even thinking of buying a vehicle however this vehicle looked fantastic and we called on it it. We spoke to Tim the service manager and he answered all of our questions and we even asked about trading in our vehicle,. Tim was very friendly, responsive and very informative and we decided we would make the hour and a half drive. Upon arriving Tim and Joe made us feel very welcome and everything that we had been told was absolutely true and we ended up purchasing the vehicle. The experience we had buying this vehicle was like no other we have ever had. Joe and Tim went above and beyond what was even promised in the deal, and the service they provided was of excellence.
