I had called in and inquired about a youth atv. They had 2 holdovers that were both 2018's. I was very happy to find these, because even new ones were hard to get a hold of. Well, I found out there is a reason they still had these, and should have been skeptical from the start! My 1st phone call was sent to sales and answered by a MIndy. I asked her if the atv had a foot brake, and also a warranty question since it was 2018. She didn't know the answer to either one, and said she would have to find out both answers and call me back. That was on a Tuesday. I never heard back from her, so the following Tuesday, I called back and was sent to her again. I asked what had happened with the return phone call? She apologized and called me back the next day with the info I was looking for. I also asked her about the pricing and found out that they charge $500 in fees for licensing and prep. $350 of that was just prep. I couldn't believe that! I have been looking at these for sometime and have got quotes from several dealers closer to me. Not ONE of the dealers I ever got quotes from charged a prep fee on these little atvs. I called one of the guys I had talked to previously and asked what went into prep on these, and told him what these guys were charging. He laughed and said prep was about 40 minutes on these machines. That's why they don't charge for it. Them $500 fees, now put the price of a 2 year old atv over any of the brand new ones I priced out previously. (WATCH OUT FOR THIS) Again, I'm sure this is why they still had them. Anyhow, I told her that was crazy and I wasn't interested. A few days go by, and I thought maybe she misquoted me or didn't like me, or whatever. So, I had my wife call and get a quote. She got the same Mindy girl. She asked her to get a quote together for an out the door price on the same atv I was looking at, and Mindy told her she'd call her right back with the quote. NEVER heard back from her, even though she had her phone number and email.... A few weeks later, I was still looking online at atvs, and noticed they dropped the prices on these again. I had a friend of mine from work call in to get a quote with the new lower price. Still curious if the outrageous fees would be placed on it. He called, and funny, got MIndy again. Asked her if she would get him a quote on the atv and she gladly accepted with the promise again to call right back. NEVER heard back from her again!!! We waited a week and he wanted to call back during lunch break. So, I called and asked for her specifically, and was told she wasn't working that day. The receptionist asked if we wanted to leave a message. Yeah Right, like that would ever be returned!! So I said, "I would actually like a sales manager to contact me instead". No problem the receptionist replied. Well, it's been a week since I made that call... and believe it or not, I NEVER received a call. I thought maybe it was the one employee that was the issue. Seems like it's the whole company.... What embarrassing customer service! This was clearly not a mistake! I gave them the benefit of the doubt 1 time, maybe even 2. But after all of them no calls, It's obvious, they don't need my business. The good news is I was able to find a brand new one at less money than their 2 year old ones sitting there,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMindy made the process of purchasing our new Regency boat extremely easy. She was always available and quick to respond to questions and emails. I drove in all the way from Oklahoma and she made sure everything was ready for my arrival. Mindyās walkthrough was thorough and she even set up my Lowrance with some helpful settings to make my first trip on the water seamless. Thereās always some awkward down-times while picking up a big purchase and Mindy was a great conversationalist and very personable, which made the time go by with ease. After the sale and my departure, she followed up a few times to make sure my return trip went well. Mindy is a top-tier saleswoman and I wish every business had a Mindy to work with!
Pam was extremely helpful on the finance side. She had solid advice and input regarding various protection plans and options. She allowed me some time to think about it and after asking around to a bunch of my fellow boat owners, they all said that everything she recommended was absolutely necessary. Having confidence that I wasnāt throwing money away on unnecessary upgrades was great. My conversations with Pam were frank, straight-forward, but also friendly and personable and I never felt that she was giving me a āhard saleā. Pam checked all the boxes for everything you want from the money side of a business.
Parts department stepped in after my walk-through with a helpful checklist of essential items for my new boat. No pressure, just helpful advice. They had everything there to make sure my boat was legal and ready to hit the water as soon as I arrived back in Oklahoma. Quick, easy, and efficient.
Last but not least, Mr. Vetesnik was there to āshake my handā (we didnāt because... global pandemic). We talked for a while before I left and he insisted I call or text if I have any questions about the boat. He even had some good advice on towing the boat and helped level-out the trailer for me. This is the best sign of a quality, well-run business. The fact that the owner was on-site and there to make sure his team was operating at their best means everything to me. He even lent a hand despite having a whole team there to do it. This is a true family business that is service oriented and professional.
If there were more stars to give, they would deserve them. They could run a clinic on how to operate a family-run business. Well done, Mindy and the Vetesnik Power...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI do not post often on social media and generally expect great service as a baseline. I had such a positive experience at Vetesnik Power Sports that I wanted to share some much deserved praise regarding my recent purchase. As a power sports enthusiast for over 4 decades I have been on the buy side of many transactions. My experience with Vetesnik was by far the best I have EVER experienced. First and foremost, My salesman Todd was exceptional and they got me in the door with great pricing. The delivery and follow up was really what impressed me the most. I could tell everything was assembled with care, and delivered to the highest standards. The Owner Gregg was generous of his time in the delivery process as well, and I walked out with a feeling like I really understood everything operationally. When we finally got out on the water, everything performed exceptionally well - even better than I expected. If you are reading this post you probably have had good and bad experiences with dealerships. It is truly rare to have an experience where a dealer really takes the time and care to treat you like family. Vetesnik Power Sports was exceptional in every way. If you are looking to purchase anything they sell, make the drive. I promise it will be well worth your while. Thanks again Gregg, Todd, Tom, and all the service and support staff. We are going to enjoy these but when I'm in the market for another toy, I...
