First time there today. Was kinda funny, no one wa there and it did. It look like a store because it’s not quite a store. I pulled up and parked in a private spot, because I had no other choice, thought I just parked at someone’s house, well cause I did. Had to call the farm to make sure I was in the right place. The owner answered and suddenly I heard him in real life and on my phone lol. He just told me usually people pull up by the fridge at the drive way and circle back out to exit.
So, it’s based on the honor system. You get your dozen eggs and drop in your cash (only) into the money box in the fridge. It’s $12 per dozen. No change is given. And drive off. However, the hens surrounded my car 😂 they’re so friendly that they don’t actually scare or flee from humans. The owner was kind enough to tell me just back up slowly and they’ll get out of the way.
