I was working in Montello and my transmission in my F250 went out. I towed it to Ken S. at Maple Grove Auto. He gave me 3 options of re manufactured transmissions and i chose the one he could get the fastest since i was returning home (2 hrs away) the following week. It was installed, along with a new front U-joint and hardware which I was never asked permission to replace. The day i picked my truck up i noticed transmission fluid on the transmission cross member, the pan, the inspection cover and the rear of the transmission. There was also a couple of dents and deep scratches in the transmission pan which Ken told me " That's how they come shipped" I also found transmission fluid on my front fenders, driver side door and on the steering wheel. I assumed it was all just careless work that hadn't been cleaned up after the install. 2 weeks go by and i notice small leak marks left on my freshly cleaned concrete driveway. Laying underneath the truck i found that everything was still wet with transmission fluid. I then washed all the fluid away. 1 week goes by and in fact it actually is still leaking. I called Ken S. at Maple Grove and asked him how he was going to make this right. He started off by being very unapologetic and telling me "I told you I have never used that company before" which is implying that it is my fault that i chose that brand of transmission. He told me to bring it to him and he will do the work at no cost. A loaner vehicle was offered but only at a 25 mile radius from their location and after that it was going to be my liability if any mechanical problems occured. I then started a warranty claim with National Trans. Then I took a half day off of work on Tuesday and drove it back to Montello (2hrs) to have Ken do the warranty work. My wife drove up (2hrs) separate and drove me back home to enterprise rental to rent a car on my own dime. I was not updated the first day so i called Maple Grove on Wednesday and was told they had a transmission pan on order. I expressed how i did not think that was the issue but was told that was their diagnosis. 2 days later with no further update from Ken I called and spoke with Ken and was told my truck was complete and ready to be picked up. He informed me that he was sent an oil pan instead of a transmission pan so that delayed the work by one day. I then returned the rental car and payed the 200 dollar bill, and my wife and i drove back up to Montello (2hrs) to pick up the truck. I was not charged any money for the warranty work Ken had completed. I arrived at Maple Grove and crawled under my truck to find the new pan, the front and back of the transmission as well as the transmission cross member were damp just as before. The invoice showed the order of work was as follows. After a 15 mile test drive no leaks were detected by Ken. Then he found the drain plug was stripped out and got permission from Trans. Company to replace the pan. After replacing the pan he test drove again for 15 miles and found no leaks. Trusting Ken's Invoice and his work that my truck was complete, I drove the truck home(2 hrs) with my wife following. When i arrived home i crawled under the truck and sure enough it was leaking transmission fluid worst in all the locations already stated. I then called Ken and he blamed me for "being in a rush" and blamed me again for choosing that brand of transmission even tho it was an option he offered to me by his Auto business. He argued with me that it was not leaking when the truck was in his possession even tho it was, and still is. He told me to take it up with the warranty company. He is not assuming any of the responsibility, and does not stand behind his work. I do not trust Ken S. to touch my truck again and will be working with the warranty company to get this straightened out. An utter lack of craftsmanship and customer service by Ken. A Better Business Bureau complaint is being filed as well as multiple negative reviews. Please take this review seriously and do not take your vehicle to this "business"...

I stop by Ken to check on his tire prices. He showed me the websites that he uses and the prices of a few different tires and companies , upon getting home I checked some websites for tire prices. I ran across one that can use it and found the same tires, and a much better discounted rate. so I purchased them and had them sent to Ken for installation while I had my vehicle there. I wanted him to do an alignment as well. My son weighed it over 2 1/2 hours for the tires to be done and no alignment was done and was told I had to make another appointment for that, so I did Ken did the front end alignment and said he had seized bolts for the rear end and could not finish the job and wanted to charge me $1100 in parts to fix the problem. I told him no so I get the car home and I find a mechanic that’s more reasonably priced and had him change a few parts that weren’t really necessary and one bolt that was truly seized, which took my new mechanic less than an hour to get out also, discovering that I have a slow leak in one of the tires that Ken installed so I called Maple Grove and set up an appointment for him to finish the alignment that he never finished and fix the leaking tire that was his fault. He didn’t fix these things but turn around and charged me $27 to fix the tire that shouldn’t had to been fixed in the first place in an additional $56 for an alignment of the rear wheels that he never did in the first place and charge me for the first time when I called to ask about these charges, he was extremely rude and everything was somebody else’s fault not his I highly recommend that you do not even think about using this guy. He’s a farce and really doesn’t even know...

Came in Because my car was overheating and was told to look at it was gonna be $200 later received a call and they told me that it was gonna be $460 just to look at it. And with the repairs it was gonna be $710 Because he said I needed a new radiator. I also asked about a loud sound coming from my engine and he told me that my whole engine was shot and I would need a new one. After all this I decided that I needed to go to a different auto body shop to confirm what he was saying and they found no leak in the radiator and there was nothing wrong with my engine. Overall he attempted to scam me with a brand new engine and lied to me about a faulty radiator and attempted to cost me thousands of dollars. Would highly not recommend coming here because after my experience I read through some reviews and I realized that many people had similar experiences with this individual and I've heard that he has very faulty...
