This place could be a nice place to play if just a few things were changed. Some of the regulars seem to think the place is a bar making inappropriate jokes, constant foul language and inappropriate conversation. It's not on for this type of stuff and is very offensive to players. Keep that behavior out of a LGS
Second the store has great tables to play but you either need to stand as theirs not enough seats or sit on bar stools that are too high and hurt your back from bringing over onto the much lower table. Seating is sorely needed.
additionally the store owner does not follow the official WPN rules and inflates his numbers. He does not use the official software to track wins and losses and uses his own system on paper. He then inputs additional fake users into the WPN software and Infates his numbers for events. He also does not give out the special promo items for the event that he should of that are provided by wizards for the players. I'm only speculating but I'm assuming he's selling them on the secondary market for profit.
Overall things are competivy priced with a large selection to choose from but this is not enough to make up for the shortcomings of the store and it will be my first and last...
Read moreIt was hard to find. The signs out front are wicked faded. I had to drive by several times to actually see that it was a building you could go to. It is very packed. Organized to a point, but I think they are unpacking slowly from move. The comics I looked at weren't priced, but was decent price at the register. Downside is I spent about $100 and they couldn't even print me a receipt. Had to be hand written. Also I was charged for the bag and the board that the comic was in. Not sure if that was supposed to happen or not but when I buy from other comicbook stores the bag and board are included when purchasing back issues. I am looking for certain comicbooks, but didn't see much in the line of the ones I was looking for. I guess they were decent. Probably not going back again. Hard to find even with Google maps...
Read moreThis location has a large selection of sealed MTG. One of the largest selections I have seen. I picked up a single pack of Amonkhet for just under $8 great deal! But i also picked up a box of zendikar rising set boosters and a bloomburrow bello deck. I should have done my research before buying. The mark up on these is downright Predatory. The set booster box was $175 the average market price for a sealed box is $118 that's a 67% mark up and the bloomburrow bellow deck was $67 but market on that sealed is $39 for a 57% mark up. That is just down right robbery. I am fine with paying some mark up to help the business but that's...
