Major kitchen remodel of a 42 year old kitchen. Tom was our project manager and was always very responsive to my questions and any concerns I had along the way. He provided solutions to anything I wasn’t happy with. Alexa as our designer gave us plans for a beautifully updated kitchen. Workmanship was spot on but my one suggestion would be that the team that starts the project would be the team that would see it through to completion. Travis and Teddy worked with us for the first 2 weeks beginning with demolition, coming up with plans for the installation, installing what was available. Then waiting several weeks for more supplies and someone else coming in to do more installation. There was several pauses in progress and every time construction restarted it was always someone different that came. I don’t remember many names. We had developed a trust with Travis and Teddy, they knew our expectations and we knew their plans only they were never the ones to return and everyone that came had their own plan. If I could give this company a 0 star review I would. This has been a nightmare from the start. I’ll keep it short. It’s been almost 4 months on a simple Kitchen remodel. Cabinets and countertops that’s it!!!! Take old out and put new in exactly way it was. Trey our project manager is very inexperienced and tries to intimidate you and make you feel uncomfortable in your own home. Worse communication I have ever dealt with on any construction project. Full of empty promises and craftsmanship is hit or miss. Multiple people coming to your home with no appointments or acknowledgment. Terrible scheduling. If I could find a new range insert they would be gone now but of course I can’t find anything that will fit in the custom Kraft Maid range hood so I’m stuck with another it will be two more weeks excuse. My families Thanksgiving, Christmas and, potentially New Year’s holiday has been ruined due to poor management. Kitchens by Oaks,(Kitchens By Countryside) did a fabulous kitchen remodel for us. Starting with our designer Julia. She was very patient, knowledgeable and reassuring during the selection process. Julia listen to our ideas and offered great suggestions as we navigated the many cabinets, countertops, flooring and backsplash choses. Once the cabinets, flooring and other materials arrived our Project Manager Tom took over the day to day installation. Tom kept us informed daily on who would be at our home and what they would be working on. All of the craftsmen that worked on our kitchen were respectful, neat, knowledgeable and timely. Tom and his crew made some good suggestions with lighting and many other items that come with a remodel project. As with any home improvement project there were a few bumps along the way but Tom handled all of these quickly and efficiently.
