My family invested in a sizable amount of beef from a local beef farmer. Kramell was the processor. Butcher was friendly and informative on the phone while taking direction on how we'd like our cuts prepared, and seemed to be understanding of our request and taking notes. The order received was so different from the cuts requested that, if not for our name being printed on the packages, I'd suspect we received someone else's order by mistake. Everything was incorrect including steak thickness (asked for 1", got 1/2"), cut types (asked for some whole tenderloin and ribeye - got none), and bulk makeup (requested emphasis on roasts and stew meat so that we could grind the meat ourselves - received 25 packages of ground beef, 5 stew, and very little roast).
