Walden Motocross Track — Local services in Town of Plattekill

As someone who mainly rides woods this was my first time at a motocross track. I was very excited going into it and I was not disappointed. I loved every minute I was there and the staff was extremely helpful. I ride a ktm 200 and they started me on the w2 track(smaller track) and it was defiantly the right place to start. I spent most of the day there and at around 4:30 I went to the main track. I went into the women class as it was empty and a lot safer for me because I was not clearing jumps yet. My only complaint is that the w2 track felt small and I did get a little bored and wanted to go to main track and experience it however the C class which is supposed to be for more novice people did not seem like it. Everyone in the C class was clearing jumps and I just felt very intimidated. Now I understand people are going to still be fast in a C class but I feel they need to start moving up people to higher classes, or make a new class for just novice. I defiantly will be coming back as I enjoyed it a lot. If any club members get bored of there friends and want a new best friend to take to the track with them then I am your guy! As a District 34 member we had a race schedule for Sunday but no one wants to answer the phone to let us know if it's cancelled because of the rain storm this weekend they have not posted anything on the website or anything it's real unprofessional there is a lot of riders wanting to know if the race is still going on this weekend but no way to get ahold of the track we had to cancel hotel room and lost money because of it just unprofessional by track owners I will not be coming this...

Nice track , they had it groomed twice while we were there. They had 2 really nice jumps and was a fun track to ride. There was a mechanic on site to make repairs and a food truck if you got hungry.
