I've been doing business with Roskopfs for 3 years, and can confidently say that I will never buy an RV elsewhere. If you are new to RV'ing, as experienced ones will attest, you will be back at some point for service. Doesn't matter what class or brand you buy.....it will happen. And the upshot is, an RV manufacturer warranty is only as good as the DEALER you buy it from. I cannot stress this enough. For those wanting more details on our experience...read on. But in summary, Roskopfs backs their product like no other, even years after purchase.
My family and I purchased our first RV in 2019 from Roskopf's, acting on the many recommendations that I received. Roskopf's advertises themselves as the value leader, and I believe that sums up our experience with them perfectly. Working with both Corey and Gary Roskopf was a comfortable no pressure experience. They are extremely knowledgeable, honest, and forthcoming. I left the dealership feeling strongly that I made the right decision to buy with them given their reputation, built over several decades, for backing the products they sell. As far as price is concerned, I've been known to hop on a plane to another state to purchase an vehicle to save $$. Fortunately Roskopf's price was very competitive. That said if places like camping world was several thousands cheaper, in hindsight I would still choose Roskopfs. Because I know when something goes wrong it'll end up costing more in the long run because you'll end up being out of pocket for the repairs and/or missing a trip (and likely deposit $$) due to long repair lead times.
Since 2019 we've driven our RV across the country twice and up and down Wisconsin dozens of times visiting state parks. There have been manufacturing related issues from poor seals to under manufactured frame components. Each time, Brian and his service team was there to save the day. And with the all the miles driven and family memories cultivated, these issues never once kept us from our travels and/or put a dent in our pocketbook. And the upgrades I've had their team install were very reasonable.
I've learned that recently Roskopfs was purchased by Campers Inn. My business will remain here with Brian, Gary, and team staying on along with their mentality that customer is at the very center of their business. Call me a fanboy, but through hard work and good business practices Brian and Gary have...

I was hesitant to write this review, but after months of unfulfilled promises and lack of communication from Campers Inn, I felt it was necessary to share our experience.
Our RV journey started in June when we decided to purchase a Rockwood trailer. We were initially promised the trailer would be ready for pick-up within a week, so we made the two-hour drive (one way) to pick it up. They asked us to have a cashier’s check ready, which we brought as requested.
However, while en route, we received a text from the general manager informing us we needed insurance before taking possession. While inconvenient, I assured them I could secure it in minutes during the signing. What they didn’t inform us was that the trailer had significant damage.
During the final walkthrough, I noticed the issues myself:
A dent on the storage door
Scratches on the countertop
A hole in the wall caused by the bunk ladder
When I asked if there was anything else wrong, they casually admitted to these damages but never disclosed them beforehand. They assured us everything would be fixed under warranty after we completed the purchase, which would require yet another trip and cost us our vacation plans.
We decided to walk away from that trailer.
Instead, we opted for a smaller unit, which turned out to be $10,000 less than the original. This was clearly a disappointment to the finance manager, whose attitude shifted dramatically. When we declined the extended warranty, he became rude and unprofessional—a stark contrast to the initial friendly service.
To add to our frustration, we were promised a free Harvest Hosts membership with our purchase. It’s now December, and despite multiple calls, we’ve neither received the membership nor a callback. Their lack of follow-through and accountability is astounding.
While we are satisfied with the smaller trailer we purchased, the entire buying process was marred by poor communication, hidden damages, and unprofessional behavior from both the financial and general managers.
If you value transparency and customer service, I strongly recommend avoiding...

The experience with Roskopf's thus far has been very good. Easy to navigate web site. Fair and reasonable prices. Good selection. Steve ins sales was very helpful, knowledgeable and personable. He was also very patience and kind to my kids. Even my daughter (she's 2) wanted to hold his hand while looking around. The gentleman who did the walk though was detailed as he needed to be. Very knowledgeable and experienced. The trailer purchased was used and has had 3 issues. First was a minor water leak at the outside kitchen where the water feed line came into the outside sink. Was able to tighten the fitting an clean up the water. No damage, no problem. I didn't even bother telling them. It was that small of a deal for me. Second issue I noticed during pick up but choose to let it go. The outside fridge wasn't tied down and damaged the wood work when someone moved it. It wasn't like that when I looked at the trailer but then again it wasn't a deal breaker and wouldn't have made my purchase decision any different. So again I didn't even say anything. Lastly, the biggest problem was the brakes. After a short drive the trailer brake began shorting out. I called Steve right away and dropped off the trailer the next morning. They looked at and repaired the trailer nearly immediately. Got a follow up call from Steve and Brian (service manager) letting me know it was done. I was expecting it back in a few days to a week. They had me back on the road in a few hours. Service after the sale is often spoken about yet rarely delivered. Thank you Steve, Brian and the Roskopf crew for making this experience memorable for the...
