My boyfriend and I decided to finally go apple picking and choose this place, there was only a couple other people there when we went and it is a nice place to go for families with all the extra things besides apple picking. They don't allow you to bring your own bags unlike every other place I've gone to where they do let people bring their own, but they sell small bags that only hold a few big apples, the first bag is $25 and any extra bag is another $20 each afterwards. When we were walking to our car the owner came out of the house and stormed over to us saying it's fine to have 1 apple out of the bag for the car ride home but anymore then 1 we were demanded to buy another bag since we had 4 apples in hand from being picked up from the ground as we walked out of the orchard, I told him (the owner) that they were just on the ground and I picked them up as we were walking out and he yelled and said he didn't care if they were on the ground smooshed or perfectly fine we were demanded to pay for another bag. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Never going back and don't...
Read moreI wanted to like this place. We had a wonderful time and the honeycrisp were the best I’ve ever tasted BUT… every single apple has gone bad within about 3 days. It was obvious the orchard had a ton of overripe apples on the trees. When I say overripe I mean they were splitting open and very large; plenty of rotting and damaged apples on the branches. Tons of bad apples on the ground. Trees looked like they needed some love. It looks like this space is a lot of work and the owners are behind. I’m not saying don’t go, but beware that the apples go bad quickly. At $20 a bag, that is not worth a trip in my opinion. I hope the owners make improvements because I am definitely willing to give it another go. It’s a space of good ideas, but...
Read moreVery strange experience. You have to prepay for a bag to pick apples. Once you get to the apple trees, you are told where you can and can't pick apples by a very rude and condescending person. There's even instructions on "how to pick apples". You aren't allowed to eat apples off the trees and are "encouraged to pick up any apples you drop on the ground". We were told multiple times to "only eat the apples for which you paid for!" These people are very controlling and feel the need to boss customers around. I've been apple picking many times at other farms, and have never experienced this! I will not be going back...
