I cannot say enough positive about this business, and the services it provides. I have had the composting service for almost two years, and am absolutely thrilled. I live in a small city, where composting in my backyard isn't feasible. I am both an avid gardener and proponent of less environmental waste; being able to have my food waste "recycled" is both a relief, as well as a bonus. in addition to having that waste go to good use, I benefit from the choices of either receiving soil created form the composting at the end of the year, or worm dirt--which is far more effective and non-toxic in comparison to Miracle Grow. I have also purchased the worms that you can create your own composting system in your home with, and it has been an additional benefit and delight to have, as well as share with family and friends. I highly recommend Adirondack Work Farm. Rich is the best :D The compost bucket was delivered the day after I subscribed for the weekly service. Shortly thereafter, I needed two buckets per week due to relatives visiting for a month. Not a problem; AWF is flexible. When I email with a question, I receive prompt and informative replies. And did I mention the design of the buckets seal in odors. OK, I can momentarily smell the decomposing food when I remove the lid to add more food scraps but that's a small price to pay for reducing methane gas levels in the environment and creating rich soil. Adirondack Worm Farm is a fantastic service! It allows us to compost without any of the work or mess. Bill (the chief worm wrangler) is very professional and a pleasure to deal with. He makes it very easy to compost with very clear instructions for what to put in the composting bucket. When I have a question, he answers my emails quickly. He picks up our composting bucket from the curb and leaves a clean bucket on schedule. We are so happy with how much waste we are diverting from landfills to compost.
