If if you’ve never gone to the balloon festival up in Queensberry, you have to take a visit! They have several times where they do the releasing of the balloons ; you can even get a ride if you want (there is a cost). The only issue is “mother nature”they cannot release them if there’s a wind over 6 miles an hour. The morning was canceled ; the afternoon they tried, but they canceled it. The evening glow to me was the best part ; they didn’t launch anything, but the balloons filled up and the gas they used to inflate it made it such a beautiful glow they did not take off that evening not sure if they were going to, but there was still a slight breeze, but all in all it was a great time they have food there many vendors they have many bathrooms well porta parties. They also have a craft fair. You can make a whole day out of it, which is what you really wanna do put it on your bucket list I’ve always wanted...

Went here for the Adirondack balloon festival and it was an amazing experience, location is awesome, the surrounding town of Glen Falls was beautiful, and the people were super friendly. My only complaints were the parking and traffic. We got to take part in a balloon chase, and it took us over 2 hours to exit the premises, our balloon was already down for an hour at that point, and then took us almost two hours to get back. Location could certainly use better direction for the balloon crews to get in and out for the next launches for the spectators that flock here. Perhaps a change in traffic patterns to make dual lanes exiting the airport in both directions?? Despite all of that, we will be attending again....

Was my families first time there. We went to see the hot air balloons, sat there for a few hours waiting for 5pm to roll by so we could see the balloons do there stuff. Well due to wind they weren't able to start, kids got antsy and they wanted to get home to see our home team play there game. We were walking out and all the balloons started going lol just our luck. Well we got to see them so that was a plus and kiddos gor home to see the end of the game so win win I guess. Was a fun time but everything is pretty expensive there food wise so that wasent to great. We will be going next year!! Sorry pics aren't to great but man there was...
