This light show was over-hyped, leaving us pretty disappointed. After years of paying to go to light shows around Wisconsin and Illinois, this one would definitely be bottom of our list, especially for the price. If they charged $10 a car it would be appropriate, but $25 is a bit much for 1/2 mile of not all that much to look at. It took us less than 7 minutes to drive through and all four of us felt it was mediocre. They say you can drive through more than once, but none of us cared to do that, it was just "okay". I would rather pay $10 and only go through once. There was some random "junk" decorated like Christmas making it feel very "haphazard" and disjointed. Miss the old show in Vernon Hills with a theme and so much more to look at. If they lowered the price, maybe this would be worth the drive. You can see more at the Grand Geneva drive for free, so we won't be doing this one again. There are far better places to view lights for free. I think they have some work to do before...
