We had a gas fireplace unit that would not ignite. The pilot was on, but the burner would not fire up. I went online to see if I could fix it myself, but it was very hard to work on and I did not to want to make things worse.

I looked online for a professional repair service. I try to support smaller companies so I gave Bay area a call. Got a hold of Chad and set up a time for him to come and look at it. He showed up right on time and worked on it for almost 2 hours. We both came to the conclusion being that the unit was 21 years old that throwing more money at it was probably not the best idea. He suggested a new unit and sent me a quote. He quoted me a new Napoleon unit at a very fair price and I decided to go with the unit and scheduled an appointment for an installation. The installation went very well and it only took about 5 hours to get the old unit out and the new one in. I am very happy with the new fire place. Thanks to his expert installation work and amazing product (Archguard gas fireplace) the room now stays at constant warm temperature based on whatever temperature I set the thermostat to. We had an outdoor wood burning fireplace on our covered patio installed by Chad. He was the first company in the area to take the time to stop out and look at our project. We framed the project ourselves and he answered all of our questions and provided suggestions.
