We stayed at the A-Frame, which was beautiful, however, several issues with the stay came up, biggest of them is the bed which is supposed to slide out, did not work. We tried to get it fixed while we were there so we can use it, but the customer service was horrible. We called and emailed them to which they said 'we will send maintenance on Sunday morning.' Our checkout was at 11 AM on Sunday and we were refused late checkout. This meant the solution they gave to fix it Sunday was useless to us so we did not get a chance to use it. Meanwhile, the only reason we stayed there was to use that bed for stargazing. The customer service is really bad. They claim on the phone to have people on site who can help you during your stay but that is false. No one picks up the phone and on Saturday they do not have anyone working on site. So if something goes wrong, you won't get the help you need to get it fixed. It also says that there is a fully equipped kitchen but there is actually no oven and the vent is bad. The fire alarm went off twice while we were cooking so we had to open the door to get rid of the smoke and stop the alarm. Again, we called the number they provided but no one picked up. After we left, Chris was kind enough to respond to our emails and recognize the shortcomings of their customer service but we did not feel like the solution he proposed was fair to us and our situation, given that we spent much more on the A-Frame than staying anywhere else just to use the bed and it did not work. We sought out solutions many times during our weekend to get it fix, but in vain. Overall, we feel like having to deal with all that during our stay put a damper on our anniversary weekend away. I am most frustrated by how bad customer service is when you are paying so so so much to stay there. It is not cheap at all. The expectation is to have excellent customer service in a situation like that. Overall disappointed and definitely would not be going back, despite them offering us...

While the cabin/setting is beautiful, the customer service was unfortunately not the same, by far. Poor communication all-around; either with miscommunication of the services they provide (Ie: Pull out bed), no communication at all OR finally receiving communication and it is a email that is mistakenly forwarded, with host making fun of you. Hopefully my feedback will be an opportunity for them to improve on their skills. It was very disappointing as the place was again, very pretty.

  • While the A frame cabin is very pretty, unfortunately my review is true. The customer service and communication was not at all what I anticipated it to be. *It took two weeks to make reservations due to payment issues. I emailed you two weeks before my stay to confirm all was good to go (b/c of said payment issues) and never heard back from you. *The day we were to arrive I found out the bed was not usable and “seasonal” and would be an extra $150 to use. NO reference to either of those on my invoice / reservation. *During my stay Jelena mistakenly sent me an email making fun of how I wanted to use the bed in the rain – b/c I had been trying to see if it would be possible to use, even if for a small window of time, when all was clear. *We also had no use of the TV / internet downstairs in which I was told someone would come fix and they never did. *(4) days after my stay there are posts ALL over social media that the bed is now open year round with no fees. Images of the bed being used in the snow/in winter. *No acknowledgement from your establishment stating at all how misleading and unfortunately a little deceiving all this is, as the bed is the top feature to your location. This stay was a gift to my family for the holidays – and again, while it was a very pretty place – all of the above made for an extremely frustrating/disappointing experience and put a damper on the beauty/uniqueness of the cabin… Esp for the $...

This is our 7th time staying with Chris at one of his cabins (6 times through airbnb and now our first time booking direct through the evergreen cabins website). We stayed at the treehouse which we have wanted to stay at again since our last visit back in October 2020. When I tell you these cabins are so clean and cozy and perfect, they are popular and book up fast and sometimes it’s hard to get the dates that you might want. But let me also tell you that staying at one of Chris’ cabins is worth every penny. They are cozy and very clean and have fully equipped kitchens which means you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to. The bed at the treehouse is extremely comfortable with lots of cushy pillows. We didn’t bring our kiddo with us this time but the treehouse does have bunk beds too if you decide to have a trip as a family. The tvs are great and have all the streaming services for use to be able to watch movies etc. Our trip to the treehouse this time was March 22-24, 2024. We got a spring snow storm! This was fine by us as we didn’t plan to go anywhere so being snowed in suited us. They did keep the driveway plowed and the walkways cleared. We got to see lots of wildlife during our stay this time which was cool. A family of deer and an entire gaggle of turkeys visited everyday. They were so fun to watch. If you want a relaxing getaway we highly recommend staying in any of Chris’ cabins (we’ve stayed in them all and they are all fantastic!!). I think the treehouse is our favorite tho, with gigantic windows to look out at nature and wildlife and enough space to spread out. It’s great for a couple of two or for a small family of 3-4. Stay with Chris, you...

Evergreen Cabins gave us one of the most magical weekends ever. We stayed in the treehouse, and from the moment we crossed the suspension bridge, we were hooked. You walk through the front door, step into the kitchen, and BAM — that view! Floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over a waterfall. It’s absolutely breathtaking and totally sets the tone for the weekend. The treehouse is beautifully decorated with cozy, romantic touches throughout. During the day, sunlight pours in from every angle, and at night, the soft lighting and indoor fireplace make it feel like the coziest retreat ever. There’s plenty of space for four people to stretch out, unwind, and just take it all in. The owner was wonderful and even helped my husband get firewood for the outdoor fire pit — such a kind and thoughtful gesture that made our evenings even more memorable. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return. Thank you, Evergreen Cabins, for the perfect mix of nature, comfort, and pure magic.

An Unforgettable Stay at Evergreen Cabins! This was hands-down one of the most amazing spaces we’ve ever stayed in, and we’d rate it a 10/10 for a return visit! The Spa Cabin was absolutely breathtaking – I especially loved the water wall and the luxurious bathtub. We treated ourselves to a couples massage on the property, and let me tell you, it was worth every penny! Everything about Evergreen Cabins invites you to relax and unwind, which was exactly what we needed. During our stay, we enjoyed incredible meals at Rocky’s on the Lake – we ate there several times because the food was just that good! We also went snowmobiling, and it was an unforgettable experience. The snow-covered trees and charming local spots along the trails made it so much fun to stop for a beer and chat with the locals. Thank you for the amazing hospitality – you’re truly doing everything RIGHT! We can’t wait to come back!
