We had a great time staying here! The check-in and check-out process was super smooth. The dump site was really easy to manage and pretty empty when we went at 9:30 am (early June). We were the only ones there! Our spot was 122, and the bathroom was accessible from there. The bathrooms were okay, but they could definitely use a bit more cleaning and maintenance. The scenery was beautiful and it was super quiet, which we loved. It was easy to get around to different areas of the park like the playground and beach. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We brought our French bulldog, and he had no problems at all—no ticks or issues, especially since we sprayed him and used incense to keep bugs and mosquitoes away. Overall, I had a pretty decent time. Our neighbors were quiet and respectful, which was a big plus. People waved at as while they were on walking strolls. Ranger patrolled the area all day and night and was very friendly. Just a heads up—there's a lot of wildlife around, so make sure to drive at the speed limit and give them space. We saw a snapping turtle and a wild turkey during our stay! We definitely enjoyed our stay and would come back again!

Beautiful place to camp. Spent 4 nights in a tent and loved it. Beach is only a short drive through the woods from your campsite.

First and foremost please add more Lighting to the bathrooms are with the showers. Late at night it is way too dark with only one light and feels unsafe. The campsite was spacious and peaceful. We were in a tent and we were able to have a fire in our fire pit we brought with us. If you prefer grassy campsites this one isn’t it. There is plenty of sand and dust. If that doesn’t matter, you will...

This is a really beautiful spot, and it's a shame the poison ivy is so out of control. Every campsite, trail way, and road is literally surrounded. I came here 5 years ago and there was a problem. while it was bad then it has...
