Neptune Feed & Saddlery — Local services in Town of Riverhead

I’m not one to write reviews but this one I felt compelled to. Neptune has been in business a long time, being a long time customer, they go above and beyond for customers, the guys that work there are very helpful, and Jen 😊always gets my orders done promptly and is very kind, i recently experienced an issue I did not expect Lyndsey to be so understanding of, and I take full responsibility for not addressing the issue much earlier, Lyndsey was beyond fair and was understanding of the situation and resolved it. I am grateful to her for being who she is, honest kind and is committed to maintaining professional customer relationships, I’d like to thank her husband Tyler who on more than one occasion can often be found helping customers and his input was very helpful, some of us are not big barns that make huge purchases, and I feel Lyndsey had never lost sight of us little back yard customers she cares about as much as the big barns. EVERY customer is important to her and I value and respect that so much. Thank you Neptune for delivering the BEST service to all of us that depend on your expertise, prompt deliveries and the best customer service. And thank you to Jeff who always puts customers first and makes sure we get the deliveries in a timely manner....

I want to start off by saying how much i love neptune feed and saddlery. Lyndsey and her staff are absolutely amazing and wonderful to deal with. They all have such great attitudes when you talk to them you can tell they love what they do. Not only is the staff amazing but their customer service is amazing as well. It is deff one of the best i have delt with. I ordered a 6ft gate from them and i was told it would arrive with my hay delivery but the gate never arrived, lyndsey handled the problem and was beyond apologetic even though it had nothing to do with her and actually had to do with the gate company not shipping it on time. Lyndsey went above and beyond for me to make sure i got the gate right away. I really appreciated everything she did!!! I also purchase 2nd cut hay from neptune, i have never had a problem with my horses not eating it and wasting it. My horses devour every last drop of hay. costumer service is awful. i went there to get an idea of what they wanted for breeches and boots because i was expecting a check with in the week and i found the place accidentally and i had been curious. i walked inside and the employees not only ignored me but wouldn't even help me get an idea of what size i needed for show boots, which was the main reason i even went there. then i needed a helmet cover for a show and they ordered it for me and swore up and down that it would be in on time but on the day of the show i had to drive all the way out to riders choice to get their last cover because they couldn't keep their shelves stocked nor could they return or answer customer calls. we had to go down there to find out that the shipment had been delayed for an extra week. ridiculous! never...
