So I went on a pumpkin patch train rides with my toddlers today. The staff was really nice but I just don’t think it’s worth $28. It’s advertised as a pumpkin patch train ride and there’s no pumpkin patch. Just a few pumpkins on some hay. It was advertised that the kids will get a coloring book Cookies and a juice. I seen juice boxes Laying everywhere I didn’t know where people got them from. I didn’t even think to ask for one and I didn’t get offered any for my children. I think this was worth about $15. it was advertised very well all the details it sold me and I didn’t even think to ask about the petting zoo. I didn’t see any around so I just left. Wanted to go to the Christmas one they have, but I think I will sit this one out. It was just not worth the money and there was a little to do. And I understand it’s a train museum, but wasn’t impressed with their...

This has been something ourselves and our children had been looking forward to since we moved to the area last October. We finally made it this past Saturday since I had a little extra unexpected money and also the kids had never been on a train. The tickets are pretty pricey for a family and it wasn't at all what we expected. A little disappointed but it's still cool and informational i guess. The only reason that I wasn't to upset about spending the money while not being to thrilled is because it was rebuilt and completely ran all by volunteers. I also believe that the money went to the veteran's but I'm not entirely to sure. We would have loved to experience a little more of a train ride and not so much of being dropped off in a little area in the middle of nowhere with a group of people for 30...

A nice local attraction we went there for the pumpkin patch trainride, which was a lot of fun for the kids! They also had a petting zoo set up and offered a couple snacks, some light food for sale And a little gift shop so the kids could buy a souvenir to take home. The event was a little unorganized and it was a lot of being able to climb on steep stairs, no railings, and walking around, I would not suggest for someone with physical challenges. And if you are even a minute late the train will leave without you and you have to wait for the next ride They took off as one of my kids was using the restroom. There was only one restroom available for all the children and parents so always a line. The engineer on the train was very friendly and educational, you could tell he...

Great place to spend an hour! The family really enjoyed the quick train ride and being able to check out the different train cars, restorations, etc. Our son is 5 and it was perfect amount of time to explore without him getting bored or figgity. Volunteers were nice and knowledgeable. The only reason I'm took off 1 star is safety. The steps and platforms going into the train car displays at the upper museum need some attention. Some very unstable and the wood railings had bad wood splinters and paint flaking off. Our son was poked by a sharp piece of wood when sliding his hand down the railing. He was ok, not the end of the world, just a some quick minor repairs and back to 5 stars. Would return for sure.
