Dollar General — Local services in Town of Rushford

Very well kept store, and lots of deals/coupons available especially through the app. It's a newer store and was built to be a DG, so there's plenty of space to navigate around aisles and everything. If there is difficulty finding something, employees are usually able to help quickly. I worked here for five months. The manager makes sure employees are cleaning up, stocking shelves etc. but that work isn't overwhelming when the whole staff does their part like they do here! They hire frequently, but from my experience it's much more due to employees' lifestyle changes (school, moving, more hours at a different job) than because of any workplace problems. So it's a good place to work if you're diligent and have a good attitude wit customers and coworkers. Very poor customer service. Had a tall dark hair male with glasses yelling at a customer , actually using the F bomb twice . The guy didn't do what the worker accuo him of , I did it and told him so. No apology or anything. All I did was leave an empty coffee cup on a closed register , as no garbage can outside. When I told him why I left it there he said it was because "stupid" people toss lit cigarettes and other garbage in them. Would definitely be better to watch the garbage can than have all that trash in the parking area. This matters nothing to me as I won't be back until manager Tom is gone. The store can't even follow covid-19 guidlines I've seen employees walk into the store without masks had an employee cash me out while she had half her mask and was coughing into hand before cashing out.
