Ordered an flower arrangement for my love one's funeral through Avas Flower because I'm on bedrest. Therefore, I could not attend. Avas Flower contracted or hired Bountiful Blooms to complete and deliver the order.

I ordered a large white sympathy standing arrangement. What was delivered was a scanty mangy half dead arrangement. So, not only was I hurting from the lost of a love one and not being able to attend, I was embarrassed courtesy of Bountiful Blooms to say the least.

I contacted the Avas Flower the same day of delivery via their complaint form, which advised someone will contact me shortly (I also disclosed on the form that the funeral started at 9am the next morning). Well no one contacted me back until the next day around 10am. The resolutions they offered were to redeliver a new arrangement (how could that happen when the funeral had started). Then they offered $20 refund (completely unacceptable), which turned into 50% (still unacceptable). Finally, they offered a full refund, but they had to get the arrangement back. Again I explained, the funeral had started and it would be rude to interrupt a funeral. Plus, I couldn't verify the location of the arrangement at that time. The manager said well 50% is all they can do, unacceptable. I asked for the florist info because they delivered this mockery. The manager refused. I told her I would get the information (I did) and I will be filing complaints with BBB and any other consumer's report to prevent consumers from going through what I went through....

Ordering online is very easy and when I call Bountiful Blooms I always speak to someone who is friendly and makes sure that since I am so far away from home, my family know that I care about them on special occasions. Most recently I called and spoke to Michelle, who was very helpful and friendly. I wanted something unique for my grandmother for her 93 birthday and just telling Michelle my grandmothers favourite flower (Hydrangea) and favourite colours (lavender and pink) they put together a beautiful arrangement.
