Beautiful area with amazing views, there are so many activities such as fishing, canoeing hiking and none require a sign out or license. It's the honor system which is hassle free. It's a place to be adventurous and try new things such as parasailing and fishing and you might meet a few pros to point you in the right direction. The cabins are pretty rustic so it may be roughing it for some people, there are quite a few mosquitos, and you aren't there for the food or awkward songs, but this is a great place to bring up a whole group of friends including kids.    Read moreThis place is a gem. The lake is the most pristine I've ever had the pleasure of swimming in - there has never been a motorized vehicle on it! There's a plethora of canoes and kayaks and life jackets so you can explore whenever you'd like. The staff is lovely. Everyone is so kind and helpful. This is a 750 acre private property that is as secluded as it gets, but you can make camping arrangements or stay at the Old Fashioned Hotel through the Pyramid Life Center.
