8/15/20 Do not waste your time at this boat launch. Im a pretty experienced boater, however my 21' boat stalled out ten feet from the ramp due to bottoming out in the mud. I was fully trimmed up and found myself turned perpendicular to the ramp with my outdrive buried in the muck un-able to steer and barely able to idle. How a state operated boat launch is so poorly maintained especially with the park police station on site is beyond me. Save the trouble and launch from Dean's Cove...
