I liked the experience of picking the cherries, but that was because of the people I was with. The older lady running our transaction was feeling defensive, or just feeling like being rude. From what I saw of her interactions, she is the type that gets along with people she knows, and she shows her disregard to people she can block out. Read moreThey made cherry picking kind of a hassle. You got a receipt when you got your buckets. Then had to get a signature when you drove to the cherry trees. There were no ladders to pick higher and we were told that the kids can't climb the trees. But everywhere I looked there were kids and even adults sitting in the trees.
