Door County Custom Meats — Local services in Town of Sevastopol

We had a family reunion last weekend and hired this place to cater our dinner. First of all the price was fairly high a little over $1000 for 30 people. The main complaint we had was with the pork they provided. Half was in a bbq sauce and half in jus. The jus pork was in particularly small pieces and had no resemblance to pulled pork. It was almost like the last leftover scraps from the pig. The sauced pork was heavily sauced but the pork was dry and seemed overcooked. All of the pork was held too long or heated too long post roasting possibly. The other components, beans, Cole slaw and potato salad were fine and plentiful. No serving ware or napkins were provided for that price. Enough families were dissatisfied with their pork to price ratio that this review was worth writing.
