I'm slowly knocking off the high peaks in the Catskills. This is for sure one of the harder, more technical mountains. Some of the climb requires using your hands and an ability to pull your self up. (Really just one spot in the last 1/4 mile). It's tough but omg it's the best view I've ever seen. The pictures just don't do it justice.

Read moreThe trail from woodland to Wittenberg is a demanding 6km with some 750m climb. The trail is rugged, you step on rocks and roots as natural stairs, and the path is very uneven. You constantly have to watch your footing, real foot gear required!
