This is a great little spot not too far away from the utica area. Some picnic areas to have lunch w the family. There is a trail that leads to the base of the falls but I reccommend waiting til spring for that if you go. Really enjoyed it tho UPDATE*** I FINALLY MADE IT TO THE BASE OF THESE FALLS AND I HAVE TO SAY IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. I RECCOMEND GOING DOWN THERE BUT TO USE CAUTION TOWARDS THE END OF THE TRAIL NEAR THE CREEK. IT GETS A LITTLE STEEP AND IS ON A CLIFFSIDE. YOU WILL HAVE TO WALK IN THE WATER TO REACH THE FALLS. IT IS NOT VERY DEEP IN CERTAIN SPOTS AND WONT NEED TO GO MUCH HIGHER THAN CALF DEEP. ENJOY!!

Would of gave 5 stars, but it’s a pain to get to from the Syracuse area. It’s in the middle of nowhere. Would highly recommend water shoes and to not go when the water is higher like in the spring because you have to hike up the creek bed to get to it. Hike down is a bit steep, but not long. Wouldn’t recommend for younger children. Arrived around 330 & half the waterfall was covered by shade, so get there earlier. Only saw a few people. Was there by myself for the entire time. Nice places to eat in town though! I tried giligan’s island.

Walking up the creek to the falls was such a fun little adventure, finding fossils and cool rocks. There's enough creek bed at the base of the falls to enjoy sandwiches and relax watching the water. Will probably go back while the weather is still good.

Took the kids and brought lunch. We had a great time. Don't expect to see the falls well from the bridge but the view is fantastic nonetheless. The trail could be tricky for some but we found it to be just fine, all be it a little steep in spots. Walking up the creek to the falls was such a fun little adventure, finding fossils and cool rocks. There's enough creek bed at the base of the falls to enjoy sandwiches and relax watching the water. Will probably go back while the weather is still good.

Really great waterfall tucked away not far from the village area of Sherburne. The one downside is the falls are best viewed by walking up the stream, so if the stream is too high, you will miss out the best view. Small parking areas on both sides of the gorge with one side also having a small park as well. You can see the falls from the pedestrian bridge that goes over the falls, or view from the side of the gorge, but its an obstructed view. The walk up the stream is the best way to...
