Rogers Environmental Education Center — Local services in Town of Sherburne

Great place to learn about different wild life and plants around you in New York State. There is a building with information for many different things for children to learn. Great place to bring children for a short little walk on trails and see different wildlife.

Went here yesterday 6-12-21 this time my adventure was little different from 3 years ago. Since things are still in the works of re-opening the visitors center was closed. Looks like they are remodeling. But you can still walk around on the trails. Still see some of the wonderful animals in the ponds. I have always liked this place since I was a child. i truly have enjoyed Rogers all my life i even went there for a weekend school trip in the six grade it was a wonderful expierence and i also enjoy camping at Stony pond in nelson Erieville cazenova area it is so peaceful granted s free camping but also have to have a camping permit the portable bathtrooms should be emptied at least twice a week when it is used by so many plus even it just is one how about a water facet or...

We have visited several times when they are open for regular self-guided visits and enjoyed it there a lot. More recently, we have attended two Open Homeschool Groups and LOVED them.
