Sheridan Liquor And Wine — Local services in Town of Sheridan

I've been to Sheridan L&W several times now. The very first thing I noticed was that it has the best bourbon selection in the area; none of the other nearby liquor stores come close. Their commitment to stocking quality bourbons seems to have translated into a higher number of allocated (ie. more rare) bottles that aren't normally seen in smaller population areas (like Fredonia, Dunkirk, Silver Creek, Forestville, etc.) Again, the same cannot be said of the other nearby stores.

I've also found the one lady who works there to be extremely friendly and talkative. She's been helpful in pointing out new bottles a may have missed and is more than willing to chat about stuff. Last time I was in there she confirmed my suspicion about the allocated bottles, which was good to know. Apparently the owner is a bourbon enthusiast, which explains the stocking.

Their bourbon prices appear to be in line with the standard Western NY pricing, so it isn't like they're gouging you just because they have a better bourbon stock.

Employees in here are really trashy They've become worse over time In the evening the girl tattoos on her hands always hanging out with some old lady up the register and always looks like she doesn't want to work. This is one of those businesses I consider to be a gem in our area. We are in no shortage of liquor stores around here, but Sheridan goes above and beyond all the others. Not only is their selection HUGE, but every single employee I have ever encountered there has been helpful and pleasant. They always answer questions and make great conversation.
