Never have I EVER thought I’d need to leave a review like this! I have always considered Tractor Supply one of my favorite, “go-to” stores…. Today, I was told by an associate that used pallets behind the store near the dumpster were free for the taking… we pulled around back and backed up , when a middle aged , white male , operating a silver Ram, came flying up next to us, blowing his horn and screaming that I was “ILLEGALLY DUMPING”…. I explained that I was picking up pallets and making room in the bed of my truck for them. I had two bags, one white bag with some trash and one large black bag full of clothes for the drop off site. This guy then told me to “GO IN THE STORE ! PALLETS ARE $5.00 “ I told him that the associate said they were free and then this guy, who then ID’ed himself as an employee showed me where a “different” pile of pallets were the free ones. I looked and saw no difference between the two piles. I then watched as this “employee” went over and told 2 other employees, to KEEP AN EYE ON THAT GUY, he’s trying to dump”
Here is my issue , not once did he ever ask me what my intention was … he just leaned on his horn and started screaming at me in front of my son. And …. Then after I was loading my pallets, made it a point to go tell his employees to KEEP AN EYE ON ME !!
WTH ??? Maybe if he had some people skills and approached me in a decent manner, I could’ve explained myself to him. I have NO USE FOR HIM OR HIS DUMPSTER OR HIS REALLY RUDE AND BAD MANNERISMS. It’s a real shame some people just AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME THE...
Read moreWhile Tractor Supply always has EVERYTHING I need, the experience I had at the store located in Sidney was terrible. Our cashier, Jerry, was no help what-so-ever. He couldn't log into his own drawer because my husband and I believed him to be drunk. He smelled of booze and not only was he at work but it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon. He charged me once for a shovel and rock salt at once it went through, the receipt didn't print. So he told me I wasn't charged and re-rang everything in and told me to swipe my card again. When it wouldn't go through the second time because of insufficient funds, I came home immediately to check my bank statement to find I WAS charged. So not only did he NOT know what he was talking about, he was drunk, and he was rude about it to boot, but he tried charging me twice. I called and talked to the assistant manager to voice my concerns and he brushed it off like there was nothing he could do. Poor staffing on all levels and I will most definitely not be returning to this store. I was...
Read moreThis is a good place to go, dose not matter if you are a home owner, pet owner or a farm owner. You can get a quick vet stop on the weekends wich I think is great. Lawn mowers, power sports and farm equipment can be found. They used to have more for all the do it for all the yourself or weekend projects. They have a good assortment of bird foods, dog foods and and farm foods. But usually have a good price and quantity of wood pellets to keep your home warm threw the winter. We were so short on wood pellets last year and no one had them. We called and our local tractor supply said they have a couple of bags left at a lower price they anyone else. Understatement of the year. We got down to them and I bought 25 bags. Almost what was left on the pallet. But when they finally helped me load I said I was glad they had that much left. They pointed out they just took in a tractor trailer load and had one more comming in. Wow supply!! All the pellets we good. No dampness or destroyed pellets. Discount tool bins are a good...
