We were glamping locally at Harvest Moon and the General Store was recommended more than once in our local travels. We were able to stop on the way out and picked up two Italian subs to eat in the way home. There’re huge sandwiches and you could certainly get two meals out of it. Lots of meat packed into a nice hoagie roll and no shortage of toppings. Delicious and well worth the stop in this little town of Smithville Flats. They lived up to their reputation!

For years this little store has kept me returning for the best sandwiches in our area hands down. These sandwiches and sub's are monsters of their own and take a big belly to conquer! Much love goes out to the owners and staff there.

My friend recommended visiting here because they have the best sandwiches from their deli and I agree! The whole atmosphere of the general store was like stepping back in time. I really enjoyed stopping here for lunch.

First we want to say Thank you to all our customers. And everyone’s support. Breakfast sandwiches we make when requested so there fresh, just ask and we will be more than happy to make one up until 10:30.we understand about the grab and go but we prefer to make on request, 2 minutes I’ll be fresh and hot. Our subs are made fresh everyday our meat is also fresh every day and our establishment is more than generous with a sub or sandwich serving. We close at 7:30 and the deli at 7 pm if for some reason your 30 minutes in and you said hey I’ve gone this far we will be more than happy to serve you, just ask. If you have a complaint just please call us and let us know and we will be more than happy to fix it. Our establishment has always been a hometown store and we serve customers from everywhere. Have enjoyed this establishment since I was a youngster. Great food, prices and people. The following is a honest to goodness true story! Recently, I stopped into the store. I wanted to pick out a sweet treat for my favorite Uncle. With my thoughts scattered about....and half way back home...I could NOT recollect where I had placed my envelope of money! By far the best subs and service in the area! The subs are huge and prices are great. Hometown feels at its best. If you are passing thru here stop and grab food to take home. Pasta salad ...mmm! My go to is an American sandwich no salami. They have small grocery needs if you are in the area camping or just run out of something and don't need to run to store for something small.
